The organisers of the events industry’s biggest trade shows – IMEX in Frankfurt and IMEX America – has launched a new virtual experience, PlanetIMEX.

Visitors to PlanetIMEX will be granted unlimited, free access to a variety of content and activities across three desert islands: A beach-themed Community Island; A forest-inspired Education Island and a Networking Island characterised by canyons, mountains and valleys. 

CI Group’s PR arm, Clareville, have worked with the IMEX Group to launch the new virtual world to the media with great success.

“What’s not to enjoy about tiki huts and campfires on floating islands?” said US media outlet MeetingsNet “PlanetIMEX is a place where users want to be versus a short-term stopgap during a crisis. And a place that could live on, helping planners to navigate the new normal when we reopen.”
